Andy G

He’s a man of many talents! Scuba diver, rock climber, Radio DJ. Andy grew up near the Scottish border but eventually wandered out to Thailand due to his underwater expertise. As a young man, he worked as a diver in the North Sea, but was tempted by the allure of music, nightlife and being a club DJ. Andy shares his passion for radio with 100% RETRO as the co-host of “Drive”, a daily request-show and the host of our Saturday competition show… “So You Win Again.”

Annie Einan

She’s an award-winning actress and movie lover!  With numerous roles in film, TV, Stage and Improv, Annie Einan is 100% RETRO’s in-house movie expert.  You might know Annie for her principal role in Jonathan Demme’s (Executive Producer) independent film, “The Center” or from her lead role in the short film, “Version.”  She has a true love of storytelling.  Annie takes us to the movies to experience the most beautiful songs of the silver screen with “Movie Star.”

Ben Liebrand

Ben Liebrand is considered to be one of the European pioneers in mixing of dance music. His early mixes inspired an entire generation of DJ’s. Armin van Buuren, Olaf Basoski, Ferry Corsten, and Tiësto mention Ben Liebrand as their main inspiration to become a DJ. Ben was the first DJ to have a non-stop mixed radio show on Dutch National Radio in 1983, called “In The Mix.” Ben Liebrand is considered to be the very best in megamixes, earning him the name “Master Mixer.”

Ben Weston

Ben’s radio career began in 1995 as a host on some of the UK’s biggest radio stations like Liverpool’s Radio City, BRMB in Birmingham and the Capital FM network of stations. Today, he’s based in Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf and has worked extensively in the Middle East. Ben was one of the first voices to appear on the UAE’s first commercial radio station, Channel 4FM. He’s also been a host at NRJ and Virgin in Lebanon. Ben is 100% RETRO’s weekend warrior and the host of “Always On My Mind.”

Bob Shaw

Bob Shaw is an exceptional radio talent with over 20 years of experience. His voice has been heard internationally for well-known brands like Pepsi, Time Warner Cable and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Now his love for music and passion for radio will be heard as 100% RETRO’s afternoon drive host on the US west coast. Experience drive time with Bob’s conversational, friendly, informative, fun, and genuine attitude, from the City of Angels; Los Angeles, California.

Dan Harper

The man who introduces our presenters, programs, festival… Dan Harper is the voice of 100% RETRO, telling our listeners what’s happening on the radio station or behind the scenes. Dan brings over 20 years of experience with international radio programming and production. Together with our jingle voice Michael, he lends his warm and rich vocal tones to 100% RETRO’s audio branding. Hear Dan inform you every half hour of the diverse range of programming on the station.

Dave Koz

100% RETRO welcomes a living legend in Jazz! Dave Kozz graduated from UCLA with a degree in mass communications in 1986, and only weeks after his graduation he decided to make a go of becoming a professional musician. What a fateful decision that was! Dave became a multi award-winning musician with nine Grammy nominations under his belt and his very own star on the “Hollywood Walk of Fame.” He’s a platinum-selling artist and lover of contemporary Jazz!

Gary King

Gary’s radio journey began at the Mountview Drama School in London, UK where his acting experience became a launchpad for a career in broadcasting. After his first on-air job, Radio Luxembourg came calling and so did many others including iHeart, Capital, Virgin and Magic. He’s received numerous accolades including a Gold Award for “Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program” at The New York Radio Festival. Gavin Prins

Gavin Prins has graced South African TV screens and radio airwaves for many years. He’s worked as an entertainment reporter for newspapers, magazines and has hosted two TV shows. Gavin has rubbed shoulders with Hollywood’s biggest stars including Oprah Winfrey, Celine Dion, Richard Branson and Princess Charlene of Monaco. He’s authored numerous articles and books. Now, he’s 100% RETRO’s Head of News and official Hollywood correspondent. “Gavin Goes To Hollywood.”

George Weinberg

Born in the country of Kangaroos & Koalas, George Weinburg is the father of 6 Aussies. His country is world famous for its natural wonders and wide-open spaces, its beautiful beaches, “The Bush” and “The Outback”. George is a kid of the 70s, grew up in the 80s and loves the classics of the 60s. His passport is stamped: 100% RETRO. With 20+ years of experience as TVC director, he’s filmed all around the world. Hosting his show from Australia and across the planet!

Gerard Teuma

Gerard Teuma has done it all in the broadcasting biz! He’s been a journalist, radio & TV presenter, Program Director, and CEO of the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation. With his wide-ranging experience in the entertainment industry, Gerard brings his passion for radio to 100% RETRO. He was a morning man for eight years, hosting the breakfast show, and later the presenter of a lunchtime news magazine show. Gerard is the host of “I Can Hear Music” during weekdays and “The Final Countdown” on weekends.

James Hall

Born and raised in the UK, originally from Melton Mowbray in the East Midlands, James now resides in the shadow of Old Trafford and Etihad Stadium, the city where football lives…Manchester, UK. He’s worked in the radio industry for over 10 years on some of the UK’s biggest radio stations like Capital FM & Radio X. James was once thrown out of his school class for talking. Look at him now! Hosting the midday weekend show on 100% RETRO – “Turn Back The Clock.”

Jeny Preston

Jeny was only 9 years old when she started with music. Her mother granted Jeny’s wish to study music and piano. Years later, she became a beloved international DJ and producer. She won the Sismix Soonvibes Competition and is a regular act in many nightclubs around the world including Africa’s most popular club, “The Theatro.” Jeny remixes yesterday’s dance classics to the funky house beats of today. Monday Midnite is an internationally recognized MC, club kid and citizen of the world. He’s an African who moved from the United States to live in Antwerp, Belgium and is world-famous as the MC of legendary Eurohouse group, Technotronic. With his vocal and songwriting skills, he’s got two massive hit songs behind his name: “Like This” and “The G-Train.” He’s travelled the world as a funk and nightlife DJ. Monday Midnite spins the best in retro funk every Saturday with “Funky Town,” only on 100% RETRO.

Patricia Bermúdez

Actor, singer and songwriter, Patricia Bermudez was born in the UK to a Colombian family. She’s multi-talented with a prolific career in music, theatre and TV. Her first album, La Bermúdez, won a Shock Award in Colombia for “Best New Pop Artist.” She’s hosted TV series like Niñas Mal (MTV Latin America) and has acted in three feature films in Mexico. PJ Butta

PJ Butta is a personality, DJ, and influencer based in Los Angeles, California. He began his on-air career in the 90s, working at legendary LA radio station, The Beat. Since the 2000s, PJ has been the presenter on the Official World Chart, a weekly international hit countdown show that is aired in over 130 countries. PJ’s favorite food is tacos and he has a passion for collecting fine bottles of bourbon. Filled, of course. 😉 He’s even played himself on a couple of 90s TV sitcoms including “Moesha” and “Sister, Sister.”

Polly Winder

Polly Winder lives in England’s Lake District and started her career on a local radio station at the age of 18. The youngster went to Leeds University to earn a Media and Communications degree and got a job as a radio presenter when she graduated. Polly won a silver Sony Award for “Best Breakfast Show” when she was hosting on Galaxy Manchester. She later became a TV presenter. Her teachers scolded her for being a chatterbox. Now she’s a radio personality on 100% RETRO!

Rick Nuhn

Rick Nuhn has always said “I’ve Got The Music In Me” as evidenced by his lengthy career in both radio and records. He’s worked across many cities and formats, having started his radio career in Phoenix, Arizona and now working in Los Angeles, California. A career change came calling in the 80’s when he worked in promotions and executive positions at Atlantic, Warner Brother, MJJ and Concord Records. Rick is the host of Top 10 Now & Then, a weekly countdown show heard globally on 100% RETRO.

Rick Rooster

Born in South Africa, raised in Portugal, and making his home in Canada. Rick Rooster has flown the coop! Hatched in farm country and exported to greener pastures… he’s an international man of mystery. Cocky, self-deprecating and full of swagger, he’s worked at major market radio stations in Toronto and Vancouver. He’s an 80’s kid with a passion for RETRO. High energy, charming, friendly. Ronny Caslo

He started his career at a local radio station in a small town near the world’s most famous Diamond Center in Antwerp, Belgium. Back in the day, Ronny Caslo became a popular nightclub DJ. “Groovy Caslo” is now a prolific producer and was brought into the biggest Belgian media house to produce national radio imaging and TV mixes. With over 30 years of experience, he runs his own production company and is an in-demand audio consultant. Ronny grooves like never before!

Soraya Torrens

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil; actress and spokesperson, Soraya Torrens became an international sensation as one of the most renowned models in Israel. The catwalk led to hosting and presenting for Fashion TV, and acting on the silver screen with a prominent role in the American action film “General Commander” with Steven Seagal. Soraya has also represented many international brands for over a decade. Now she’s hosting her own radio show on 100% RETRO – “A Real Good Feeling.”

Steph Langford serves up your daily dish of retro as the co-host of “Drive,” a daily request show. Fresh and tasty with all the toppings. She’s half English and half Canadian. Mom and Dad are listening on one side of the Atlantic while she’s presenting on the other. Steph Langford has worked as a producer in the North of England for many years. Now, she’s co-hosting her own drive time show on 100% RETRO. She gets you home safe and sound. Taking the edge off your afternoon drive!

Stephen Purvis

He’s been entertaining audiences since he was a kid! Performing at English pubs and holiday resorts in Mallorca and Cape Town. Stephen Purvis is not only a multi-talented musician (he plays piano, bass, guitar and drums) but also an accomplished songwriter and producer. Check out the deep house remixes he made of popular 70s classics in our “music” section. Stephen is one of the main producers on 100% RETRO. He spins and remixes retro classics with his show – “On The Beat.”

Steve Penk is a British radio and TV presenter. He was born in Rusholme, Manchester and has worked for various national and local UK radio and TV stations. Penk started his radio career at Piccadilly Radio in 1978 when he was only 16 years old, where his breakfast show delivered record ratings, the highest in the station’s history to this day. Wink Martindale

Wink’s fascination with radio began during childhood in his small hometown of Jackson, Tennessee. While all the other kids aspired to becoming doctors, firemen or policemen, Wink just wanted to be a radio announcer. He’s earned legendary status at radio and TV stations across the USA. He’s hosted and produced 21 game shows during his long career and received his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006. Wink even has his name and likeness on a soda pop bottled by Rocket Fizz Soda Pop & Candy Shops!

Margit Furseth

Margit Furseth is one of the top female voice actors in the USA. She holds a degree in theatre from Michigan State University and studied improvisation with the Second City in Chicago, Illinois. Margit brings a playful, comedic freshness, honesty, and warmth to her voice work. She has voiced thousands of radio and TV commercials and her voice can be heard internationally representing the biggest brands. Margit knows how to bring the sweet and sassy or the texture and gravitas to 100% RETRO.

Michael Kussmann

Although he’s the youngest member of the on-air team, Michael most probably has the deepest voice on our station. He may sound like an old soul, but rest assured, he’s young at heart and full of energy. Mikey is the thunderous voice behind the sonic branding and radio imaging on 100% RETRO. He’s the voice of our jingles. Bending audio waves for a living, Michael collaborates with our other station voice, Dan, to create the fun audio vibes of the station.

Sylvia Villagren

Sylvia Villagren is one of the most versatile and prolific voice actors working today. She’s one of the top female voices for TV network promos, live award shows, national commercial campaigns, and narration in the USA. Her voice is heard world-wide for the biggest and most respected international brands. Sylvia is bilingual and does all of this in both Spanish and English. Her instantly recognizable voice will be 100% RETRO’s Spanish voiceover welcoming the Spanish & Latin community worldwide.



As our Brand Activator, Lenique Hutten makes the magic happen at 100% RETRO. Born and raised in South Africa, she now lives in The Netherlands and operates from our head office in Brussels. As a world traveller, Lenique is 100% RETRO’s international brand ambassador. She’s the link between our listeners and advertisers. The person who communicates our marketing vision whenever you see the 100% RETRO brand in a big city or town near you. She’s also a registered attorney in South Africa and works as our very own in-house legal adviser.
