She’s an award-winning actress and movie lover! With numerous roles in film, TV, Stage and Improv, Annie Einan is 100% RETRO’s in-house movie expert. You might know Annie for her principal role in Jonathan Demme’s (Executive Producer) independent film, “The Center” or from her lead role in the short film, “Version.” She has a true love of storytelling. Annie takes us to the movies to experience the most beautiful songs of the silver screen with “Movie Star.”
Ben Liebrand is considered to be one of the European pioneers in mixing of dance music. His early mixes inspired an entire generation of DJ’s. Armin van Buuren, Olaf Basoski, Ferry Corsten, and Tiësto mention Ben Liebrand as their main inspiration to become a DJ. Ben was the first DJ to have a non-stop mixed radio show on Dutch National Radio in 1983, called “In The Mix.” Ben Liebrand is considered to be the very best in megamixes, earning him the name “Master Mixer.”
Ben’s radio career began in 1995 as a host on some of the UK’s biggest radio stations like Liverpool’s Radio City, BRMB in Birmingham and the Capital FM network of stations. Today, he’s based in Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf and has worked extensively in the Middle East. Ben was one of the first voices to appear on the UAE’s first commercial radio station, Channel 4FM. Gerard Teuma has done it all in the broadcasting biz! He’s been a journalist, radio & TV presenter, Program Director, and CEO of the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation. Since the 2000s, PJ has been the presenter on the Official World Chart, a weekly international hit countdown show that is aired in over 130 countries. PJ’s favorite food is tacos and he has a passion for collecting fine bottles of bourbon.
